New Horror Movies in March 2025: Theatrical, VOD, and Streaming Releases
Every new horror movie hitting theaters, VOD, and streaming services in March so you never miss a scare!
Welcome to March! There are a few horror films coming that I’ve been looking forward to for a WHILE. So here’s the rundown of every new horror movie releasing this month and where you can watch them.

March 2 - Kung Fu Slayers (Digital/VOD)
Starring Eric Roberts, Bai Ling, Michael Paré, a good-natured vampire must use his powers to defeat an old nemesis, who has kidnapped his son, in Montana.
March 3 - Distort (Found TV)
In this found footage horror, a musician recording an album in the woods finds mysterious cassette tapes being left for him, showing a woman researching an urban legend terrorized by a man and his vicious dog. Now, those same things are happening again.
March 4 - Cannibal Comedian (Screambox)
A psychopathic cannibal, fed up with his lack of ambition, takes a stab at stand-up comedy in an attempt to chase both his dreams and his victims.
March 4 - Armed (Digital/VOD)
A group of veteran marines steal a shipment of weapons from the military only to find a cold war era robot that hunts them down, determined to complete it's mission.
March 4 - There’s A Zombie Outside (Digital/VOD)
A struggling artist is deeply enmeshed in the world of cult cinema. As his identity blurs with his dark creations, he starts to see the monster from his films creeping into his reality, leaving him unable to distinguish fact from fiction.
March 7 - The Rule of Jenny Pen (Theaters)
Confined to a secluded rest home and trapped within his stroke-ridden body, a former Judge must stop an elderly psychopath who employs a child's puppet to abuse the home's residents with deadly consequences.

March 7 - Bloat (Limited Theaters and Digital/VOD)
This found footage horror film follows a mother and two sons vacationing in Japan. Their younger son almost drowns in a lake, and soon after the accident, the parents realize that something is wrong with their boy.
March 7 - Night of the Zoopocalpyse (Theaters)
This one’s for my fellow parents trying to get their kids into horror. Inspired by a concept from Clive Barker, a wolf and mountain lion team up when a meteor unleashes a virus turning zoo animals into zombies. They join forces with other survivors to rescue the zoo and stop the deranged mutant leader from spreading the virus.
March 7 - Dark Frequency (Digital/VOD)
A traumatic incident lands 16 year old Mary in a residential treatment center for teen girls where a sinister presence awaits.
March 7 - Mickey 17 (Theaters)
In this highly anticipated film from writer and director Bong Joon Ho, Robert Pattinson stars as an "expendable" - a disposable crew member on a space mission, selected for dangerous tasks because he can be renewed if his body dies, with his memories largely intact. With one regeneration, though, things go very wrong.
March 11 - For Sale By Exorcist (Digital/VOD)
After years of exorcising haunted houses, realtor Susan Price finally finds her dream home - until the spirits she's evicted return, threatening to make it her final resting place. Now, she must banish them for good.
March 11 - Uncontained (Screambox)
A mysterious drifter struggles to protect an abandoned boy and his little sister from an infection that turns people into a feral-like state.
March 13 - The Parenting (Max)
A couple rents a countryside house for a weekend with their parents and then discover it's inhabited by a 400-year-old poltergeist.
March 13 - Control Freak (Hulu)
Valerie, a motivational speaker, is tormented by an unrelenting itch on the back of her head.
March 14 - Opus (Limited Theaters)
A young writer is invited to the remote compound of a legendary pop star (played by John Malkovich) who mysteriously disappeared thirty years ago.
March 14 - Art Attack! The Dissection of Terrifier 3 (Screambox)
This new horror documentary dives into the making of Terrifier 3, exploring its shocking practical effects, Art the Clown's rise, and its bold impact on modern horror.
March 18 - Lost Joy (Digital/VOD)
Jane's getaway with her partner to the woods goes south when a stranger arrives and questions the integrity of their relationship, causing her to doubt whether she has a full grasp on reality or not.
March 21 - Locked (Limited Theaters)
A thief breaking into a luxury SUV realizes that he has slipped into a sophisticated game of psychological horror.
March 21 - Ash (Theaters)
A woman wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed. Her investigation into what happened sets in motion a terrifying chain of events.
March 21 - Revelations (Netflix)
A pastor and a detective, driven by their beliefs, pursue a missing person case, with the pastor seeking retribution after a divine revelation identifies the culprit who abducted his son.
March 27 - Souvenir (Found TV)
This found footage horror film premiers both at the Unnamed Footage Festival on March 27th as well as making its streaming debut on Found TV. In March 2024, a man receives devastating news and heads to the Sierra Nevada Mountains to face an internal battle.
March 27 - The Ruck March (Found TV)
This is another found footage horror film debuting both at the Unnamed Footage Festival as well as streaming. When two women sign up to participate in a group endurance event in the unforgiving desert, they expect a challenging but rewarding experience. As the group ventures deeper into the desolate landscape, things take a sinister turn.
March 28 - I Think I’m Alone Now (Digital/VOD)
As humanity faces extinction due to the rise of Artificial Intelligence, the last survivor of a small religious sect takes refuge in a remote cabin, only to discover he may not be alone.
March 28 - Death of a Unicorn (Theaters)
Starring Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd, father-daughter duo Elliott and Ridley hit a unicorn with their car and bring it to the wilderness retreat of a mega-wealthy pharmaceutical CEO.
March 28 - The Woman in the Yard (Theaters)
A mysterious woman who repeatedly appears in a family's front yard, often delivering chilling warnings or unsettling messages, leaving the residents to question her identity, motives, and the potential danger she might pose.
